Stop Rising Sewage Throughout the Property

Sewage is a health hazard. When flooding strikes sewage flows back though sewage pipes and out of toilets into the house. If this happens, the health risks can be dangerous.

The answer – Simply fitting a non return valve

How it works

A non-return valve automatically closes when water or sewage flows back through the drain system during flood conditions. The stop valve allows normal sewage flow from the inlet to the outlet side of the valve with absolutely no flow restriction.

Clever Design

The clever design prevents the entire plumbing system from sewage back surge. The hunter non return valve automatically closes when water or sewage flows back through the drain system during flood conditions. The non return valve allows normal sewage flow from the inlet to the outlet side of the valve with absolutely no flow restriction.

Applications
  • Low – lying coastal, lake or valley areas, liable to flash-floods after heavy rainfalls.
  • Under-dimensioned sewage networks with recent or scheduled new dwellings being connected on a previous main sewer operating at a high flowrate.
  • Private discharge systems channelled to public sewers equipped with pumping stations.
  • Commercial and industrial installations where non-pressure flow control is required (i.e. fish farming) or where PVC performance is required (salt water).
  • Rodent ingress reduction.
